The Republican River Water Conservation District is taking applications for the position of the Compact Compliance Pipeline Operator. The person in this position has the responsibility of operating the pipeline during the off-season as directed by the General Manager. This includes operating and monitoring wells connected to the CCP, documenting daily readings from pipeline wells during operation and providing monthly log to GM, reporting to the GM on operations of the CCP on a regular basis, following the annual maintenance requirements of the CCP and the pipeline wells, working with engineering and design professionals in all aspects of the pipeline operations and completing a confined space classification
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and valid Colorado driver’s license mandatory. Knowledge and experience in operating a pipeline is a plus
- Telephone skills, the ability to create, manipulate and utilize spreadsheets reporting on pipeline
- Must be able to work well with people and entities, communicate well, and foster good public relations.
Position receives hourly salary $25 – $35/hour depending on experience, paid monthly, PERA retirement, subject to controlled substances test.
